A trip on the Saleve Cable Car
We thought it might be rather nice to explore some of the Swiss scenery outside of Geneva and so we decided to take the cable car to the top of the Genevans mountain. This is right next to the French border and from the top, you can see some super views over Geneva and the lake. It really is a lovely place to come at any time of the year. Lots of people come here in the winter for some cross country skiing. Others come here to paraglide.

Botanical Gardens
Come to the Parc des Bastions (Bastion Park). This is located in the heart of Geneva and is a very scenic promenade with many pretty flowers, fountains and stone statues. If you are interesting in botany will see more than 50 different varieties of trees. I really liked watching a couple play chess on a grat big outdoor board, next to the pavilion. I wanted a go, but we ran out of time as the people playing it were a bit slow!
